Admissions

It has been decided that the admission to the IITs decided that the admission to any of the IITs will be based on category wise All India rank in JEE Advanced on a condition that the candidates represent the top twenty percentile. For admission to NITs, 40% weightage would be given to XII scores and 60% to the performance in JEE Main. A combined All India Rank would be decided accordingly. On the request for state engineering colleges and universities, the JEE Main examination will also be conducted in the regional languages.

The Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination or IIT JEE is an entrance held annually. Evolution

When first held, IIT JEE entrance comprised of four subjects including an English Language paper and was later named to JEE from CEE as per the IIT Act of 1961. The New Pattern Being Introduced

The Partnership HRD ministry released an alert earlier this June relevant to the combined entry examination (JEE) to be organized in 2013. The JEE would be organized in two areas, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.
